Kosovo From Space

This image from Landsat was acquired in September 1997, before Kosovo had become a household name around the world. It  reveals much about the Land Use of the area as well as giving a geographical overview.

Eurimage have added the boundary of the area (in red) and the major cities and rivers (using serb denomination). Please note: the annotations are approximate.
